Shakticom, a supplier of spiritual books, MP3s, videos and other related items, placed an order with VKG this month, making them VKG's first retail customer! Shakticom is located on the campus of Satchidananda Ashram, Yogaville, Virginia, a spiritual retreat and Integral Yoga teaching center following the philosophy and teachings of His Holiness Sri Swami Satchidananda. Shakticom's goal is to make the teachings of Sri Swami Satchidananda, as well as other nourishing, enriching materials, available to everyone. Shakticom commissioned VKG artisans to produce yoga mat bags bearing the Integral Yoga yantra for inclusion in their selection of products. The bags are showcased here on the VKG site, but will be available only at Shakticom (all other items on the site are available for order by contacting us). Reverend Saraswati Neumann, buyer for Shakticom, has expressed great enthusiasm for both the VKG project and the beauty of the items produced by the artisans. If items from this order sell well, additional VKG products may find their way into the Satchidananda Ashram, Yogaville gift shops.
